You can help kids get back to being kids on August 2nd by celebrating Miracle Treat Day! Kids like Brayden!

Brayden Sparkman, 13, Salem, Oregon, 2017

Brayden initially visited his pediatrician for headaches. But blood tests revealed troubling results: he had acute lymphoblastic leukemia and was started on an aggressive chemotherapy treatment.

The happy news is that he’s currently in good health, although he’ll continue treatments until January 2019. Doctors are optimistic about his future, and everyone is impressed with how well this now 13-year-old has handled the physical and emotional toll of his condition. Although it’s a long road, he keeps looking on the bright side.

Dairy Queen has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1984 and has raised more than $130 million for local children’s hospitals. Their support has impacted our hospital in immeasurable ways!
